Beautiful Lands

Fall in Minnesota sure is beautiful. I often end up biking back in the dark when I go out to capture some images of it, and spend time watching the sun set in far off places. It's worth it.

Fun things

Life is very enjoyable, especially when you can find so many fun things to read, watch, learn about, try, eat, etc. On-line I have found many fun things in the past month or so, such as some web-comics. A Lesson is Learned, But the Damage is Irreversible has the kind of quirky, bittersweet, absurdist humor that tickles my funnybone something fierce, and really gets me to think at the same time. Another funny one by an author which I've mentioned here before is The Book of Merl, a pseudo-religion that has some great satire. A true gem of a find is the RPS-25, a variant on the traditional rock-paper-scissors game that uses 25 different hand gestures, for a total of 300 possible outcomes in a two person game. I hope someday to help resolve some group conflicts through the peaceful yet hip use of RPS-25. That would be fun.
